The scope of practice includes evaluations, diagnosis, consultation, and therapy in all areas of speech and language including:

  • developmental receptive and expressive language delays and disorders
  • language-based learning disabilities
  • articulation and phonology disorders
  • dysarthria
  • dysphagia (swallowing disorders)
  • apraxia
  • communication difficulties associated with Autism Spectrum Disorder/Pervasive Developmental Disorder
  • craniofacial anomalies
  • American Sign Language (ASL)
  • voice disorders
  • aphasia and other adult neurogenic disorders
